The client was a major international systems and management consultancy working on a large system development project for a multi-billion-dollar international company trading high-value goods in a highly regulated market. We helped the consultants re-analyse the client’s problems, review and redesign the optimisation model, and guided the implementation. Since the initial implementation, we have designed and implemented several extensions and enhancements of the system to accommodate evolving business requirements and the changing market conditions. This system is still in regular use and is a key component of a critical business process.
